The diamond table is the largest facet of a diamond and sits on top of a diamond’s crown.

Blue Nile explains the table percentage as the width of the table divided by the diameter of the gemstone. The table percentage is critical to creating sparkle in a gemstone; a gemstone with a table percentage too low or too high will lack sparkle.
