The symmetry of a diamond refers to the arrangement and shape of facets of a diamond as well as the  symmetry of the different parts of the stone.

Symmetry is most relevant when it comes to higher diamond grades. To the untrained eye, the difference in diamond symmetry between fair, good, every good, and excellent are difficult to distinguish.
